Our Areas of Focus

Survival rights: Health and Nutrition

We aim to enable children to thrive and survive, through collaborative effort with like minded partners.

Development Rights: Education

Education is fundamental for human, social and economic development of a child.

Participation Rights

Traditional African societies regard children as “people to be seen and not to be heard”. Pamoja Empowerment Initiative is changing this narrative.

Protection Rights

Pamoja Empowerment Initiative is committed children’s protection against violence, and to support children’s recovery when these violations do occur.

Who we are?

Pamoja is a Swahili word meaning ‘Together’ Pamoja Empowerment Initiative (PEI) is a non-profit Community Based Organization (CBO) which was founded and registered in Kenya in 2016 by a group of like-minded individuals who felt that children and youths from vulnerable communities needed value-based abilities to cope with life’s challenges.

Through participatory approaches, we are equipping children with the right knowledge, skills, attitudes and values.
